Volleyball Recap: Phillips Comes Up Short

Phillips lost against Hackleburg on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bears came up short against the Panthers, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-16, 25-15.

Phillips' defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Hackleburg, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season.

Phillips will square off against Hubbertville at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hackleburg has already played their next contest (against Hamilton), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
