Football Game Preview: Benedictine Cadets vs. Warner Robins Demons

The Benedictine Cadets will take on the Warner Robins Demons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Benedictine will be strutting in after a win while Warner Robins will be coming in after a loss.

Benedictine is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Ware County, who was ranked 24th at the time (Benedictine was ranked 22nd). The Cadets skirted past the Gators 30-27. Winning may never get old, but the Cadets sure are getting used to it with their third in a row.

Benedictine's win on Friday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Stephen Cannon, who threw for 238 yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 59 yards. The Cadets also relied on Cannon, who's 49-yard boot wound up being the difference in the game. Stanley Smart Jr. was another key rusher, rushing for 73 yards and a pair of scores.

Meanwhile, Warner Robins came up short against Wayne County on Friday, falling 32-10.

Benedictine now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Warner Robins, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3.

Benedictine strolled past Warner Robins in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 35-21. Will the Cadets repeat their success, or do the Demons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
