Baseball Recap: Bulls College Prep Find Success

While Bulls College Prep's win against Noble Street College Prep wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulls narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Golden Tigers 11-9. The Bulls haven't had any issues with the Golden Tigers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Michael Leon made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Leon was also big at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases and one RBI. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Octavio Garcia was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Those five stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Angel Mejia also deserves some recognition as he got his first hit of the season.

Bulls College Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .562. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Noble Street College Prep only posted an OBP of .375.
