Basketball Recap: Perry Comes Up Short

Perry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were beaten by the Nevada Cubs 67-40. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cubs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 80-31 back in December of 2025.

When it comes to explaining why Perry lost, don't look at Nile McClintock. Despite the final result, he posted nine points. Luke Adair was another key player, putting up nine points.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Nevada, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3.

Perry wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-40 loss against South Hamilton on the 6th. As for Nevada, they have also already played their next game, a 51-47 win against Waverly-Shell Rock on the 5th.
