Baseball Recap: Siloam Springs Panthers vs. Harrison Goblins
Siloam Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harrison Goblins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Goblins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 last Monday.
Siloam Springs saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack OBrien, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base, two RBI, and one double.
Siloam Springs' loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Harrison, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-2.
Looking ahead, Siloam Springs will host Springdale at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Panthers are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Harrison, they are taking a road trip to face off against Pea Ridge at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
