Softball Recap: Strongsville Comes Up Short

Strongsville and Austintown-Fitch squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Strongsville had to settle for second. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 10-0.

Strongsville saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylen Clough, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Strongsville's loss dropped their record down to 9-14. As for Austintown-Fitch, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-4.

Strongsville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Austintown-Fitch, they will face off against Jackson at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
