Football Recap: Elyria Catholic Panthers vs. Bishop Hartley Hawks
Elyria Catholic had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 55-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bishop Hartley Hawks on Friday. The Panthers were down 42-21 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.
Despite the loss, Elyria Catholic still got an impressive performance from Donovan Shumpert, who picked up 61 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns, and also rushed for 58 yards and one score.
