Basketball Recap: Joshua Christian Skates Past Harvest Christian Academy with Ease

There's no place like home for Joshua Christian, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past the Harvest Christian Academy Saints 45-14 on Monday. The Knights have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Joshua Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Addyson Archer, who went 5 of 10 on her way to 15 points in addition to seven steals and six boards. Archer is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last five games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Hanks, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 11 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists.

Joshua Christian now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Harvest Christian Academy, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Joshua Christian will welcome DasCHE at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Harvest Christian Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Nazarene Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 17, 2025.
