Football Game Preview: Lima Senior Spartans vs. Start Spartans

Lima Senior will square off against Start at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Lima Senior put up the most points they have all season on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 63-6 victory over Woodward. The Spartans' offense checked out after the first half but had enough points banked to take the game anyway.

Meanwhile, Start didn't have too much trouble with Rogers on Friday as they won 34-18. The win continues a trend for the Spartans in their matchups with the Rams: they've now won nine in a row.

The victory got Start back to even at 3-3. As for Lima Senior, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Lima Senior was dealt a bruising 48-18 defeat at the hands of Start in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Start's Jonah Tall, who rushed for 146 yards and three scores on only 15 carries, and also caught one touchdown.
