Baseball Recap: Arvada Comes Up Short

If Arvada was riding high fresh off their 8-1 takedown of Englewood last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Bulldogs came up short against the Bennett Tigers on Monday, falling 14-4. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Cameron Henderson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last four times he's played.

Arvada's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Bennett, their record now sits at 6-7.
