After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lowry, Churchill County was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They put the hurt on the Spring Creek Spartans with a sharp 14-4 victory. The result was nothing new for the Greenwave, who have now won 12 matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
Janessa Bettencourt made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up four earned runs off seven hits (and not a single walk).
