Volleyball Recap: Eagle Ridge Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Eagle Ridge Academy can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Banning Lewis Academy Stallions on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stallions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 two weeks ago.

Genevieve Larsen was the offensive standout of the match as she had 11 digs and five aces. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October.

Eagle Ridge Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-16. As for Banning Lewis Academy, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 18-6.

Eagle Ridge Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Banning Lewis Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Resurrection Christian on the 8th.
