Basketball Recap: Ashley Ridge Takes a Loss

Ashley Ridge was the 61-60 winner over West Ashley when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Ashley Ridge Swamp Foxes fell 58-49 to the West Ashley Wildcats on Thursday.

Ashley Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 18-7. As for West Ashley, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-10 record this season.

Looking ahead, Ashley Ridge won't have much time to rest: their next game is against James Island at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Clayton Everett Jr and Gavin Ward. West Ashley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
