Meanwhile, Bayfront Charter played a tough game on Monday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 52-21 loss at the hands of Chula Vista. The defeat continues a trend for the Sharks in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now lost five in a row.

Bayfront Charter's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Castle Park, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-5.

Everything went Castle Park's way against Bayfront Charter in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, as Castle Park made off with a 60-34 victory. In that match, Castle Park amassed a halftime lead of 36-16, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Wednesday.
