Basketball Game Preview: San Diego Academy Cavaliers vs. Bostonia Global Lobos

The San Diego Academy Cavaliers will venture away from home to take on the Bostonia Global Lobos at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (San Diego Academy has four straight victories, Bostonia Global has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead San Diego Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Story Avitia, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 14 boards. Avitia has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more rebounds the last 19 times he's played. Rudy Nieto was another key player, putting up eight points along with five boards and three steals.

Bostonia Global played against School for Entrepreneurship & Technology and lost via forfeit.

Bostonia Global's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for San Diego Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-4 record this season.

Everything came up roses for San Diego Academy against Bostonia Global in their previous matchup on January 14th, as the squad secured a 63-12 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for San Diego Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
