Softball Recap: Pike Central Takes a Loss

Pike Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They fell 4-0 to the Evansville North Huskies. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Chargers of the 18-12 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Pike Central's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Evansville North, their record now sits at 13-11.

Coming up, Pike Central will head out on the road to take on Tell City at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Evansville North, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 13-0 win against Evansville Bosse on the 19th.
