Basketball Recap: Sanford Takes a Loss

Sanford lost against Gorham back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Sanford Spartans took a 62-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Gorham Rams. The Spartans' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Sanford's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Gorham, their win bumped their record up to 6-13.

Sanford will square off against Massabesic at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Sanford is facing Massabesic at the right time seeing as Massabesic is stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Gorham, they will challenge South Portland at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
