Recap: La Salette Academy Lions vs. Marshall Lions
The La Salette Academy Lions's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a 45-29 bruising from Marshall.
Despite the loss, La Salette Academy had strong showings from Charles Prather, who scored nine points along with three steals, and Elijah Hall, who scored nine points.
La Salette Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Marshall, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-14 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Salette Academy will take on DRW College Prep at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. DRW College Prep will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something La Salette Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Marshall, they will be playing at home against Charleston at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
