Basketball Recap: Marietta Comes Up Short

Marietta lost against Lone Grove back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Marietta Indians were outmatched by the Lone Grove Longhorns and fell 61-19. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Marietta has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-8 record this season. As for Lone Grove, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8.

Marietta has already played their next match (against Blackwell), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Lone Grove has also has no score uploaded for their next contest, this one against Tishomingo.
