Softball Recap: Two Rivers Victorious

Two Rivers came out on top against North Fond du Lac on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive four-run first inning. The Purple Raiders never let the Orioles get on the board and left with a 6-0 victory.

The result came thanks to Reagan Stalter's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up ten Ks.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Piper Engh, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, one triple, and one double. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high.

The win got Two Rivers back to even at 1-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Two Rivers will face off against Notre Dame Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Fond du Lac, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Omro at 5:00 p.m. on April 9.
