Softball Recap: Philadelphia Military Academy's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Philadelphia Military Academy had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They walked away with an 11-7 win over First Philadelphia Prep. This was payback for the Knights, who suffered a 1-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Philadelphia Military Academy's victory bumped their record up to 4-2. As for First Philadelphia Prep, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3.

Looking ahead, Philadelphia Military Academy will venture away from home to challenge John Bartram at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for First Philadelphia Prep, they will host Martin Luther King at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.2 runs per game on average), something First Philadelphia Prep will no doubt try to take advantage of.
