Beachside extended their home winning streak to six games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Isabella Taveras Seda. Everything went Beachside's way against New Smyrna Beach on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 victory thanks in part to Taveras Seda, who had 21 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 15 games she's played dating back to last season.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Beachside took every set by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-8.

Beachside's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for New Smyrna Beach, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Beachside and Ponte Vedra will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for New Smyrna Beach, they will venture away from home to challenge Forest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
