Basketball Recap: Amandla Academy Find Success

The Amandla Academy Disciples didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Greater Destiny Prep Academy Warriors on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 63-59 win.

Amandla Academy's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Greater Destiny Prep Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Amandla Academy will venture away from home to challenge Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Greater Destiny Prep Academy, they will head out to take on Mount Zion Christian Collegiate at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
