Baseball Recap: Monday's Loss Ends Atholton's Winning Streak

Atholton fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Centennial on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 5-4. The Raiders' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Atholton saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was William Conroy, who went 1-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. The Raiders are 5-1 when Conroy posts two or more runs, but 4-7 otherwise.

Atholton's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Centennial, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-4.
