Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, St. Joseph couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Christian Brothers Academy Colts on Wednesday. The Falcons' loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.

St. Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Christian Brothers Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-3 record this season.

St. Joseph does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christian Brothers Academy, they will challenge Red Bank Catholic on Friday. The Caseys' pitching crew has only allowed 3.4 runs per game this season, so the Colts' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
