Basketball Recap: Peak to Peak Extends Winning Streak to Five

If St. Mary's Academy wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Peak to Peak, they should've done a better job of containing Alexandra Eschmeyer. The Peak to Peak Pumas walked away with a 38-27 win over the St. Mary's Academy Wildcats on Tuesday thanks to Eschmeyer, who dropped a double-double with 32 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Peak to Peak's points.

When it comes to explaining why St. Mary's Academy lost, don't look at Aleena Nauman. Despite the final result, she posted nine points and three steals. Nauman has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Sorenna Cooper, who had five points.
