It was a good run, but Lytle unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Friday. They lost 7-1 to the Clemens Buffaloes. Having soared to a lofty 11 runs in the game before, the Pirates couldn't push the score so high this time.

Lytle saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jair Flores, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Lytle's defeat dropped their record down to 18-11. As for Clemens, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-6 record this season.
