Collins Hill dropped down to 4-3 on Friday, ending the team's four-game streak of wins. They took a blow against the Buford Wolves, falling 34-3. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia football rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Wolves are ranked second).

Makyree Cross threw for 86 yards on 13 of 30 attempts. On the ground, Maddox Henderson rushed for 38 yards.

As for Buford, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won four games by 28 points or more so far this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Buford to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dylan McCoy, who rushed for 107 yards and one touchdown on only 13 carries. Those 107 rushing yards gave McCoy a new career-high. Another passer making a difference was Dayton Raiola, who threw for 19 yards and a pair of TDs.

Collins Hill has already played their next matchup, a 20-14 defeat against Mill Creek on the 10th. As for Buford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 58-7 win against Dacula on the 9th.
