The Laurel Bulldogs will face off against the Red Lion Christian Academy Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Laurel will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Laurel's defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They blew past Delmar, posting a 42-0 win. That looming 42-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bulldogs yet this season.

Meanwhile, Red Lion Christian Academy faced St. Mark's in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Lions really took it to the Spartans for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-21 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won eight matchups by 33 points or more so far this season.

Laurel better keep an eye on Judah Barber. He was instrumental in Red Lion Christian Academy's win, rushing for 216 yards and three TDs on only 15 carries. Barber has become a key player for the Lions: the team is undefeated when he posts at least 80 rushing yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Evan Budinger was another key player, throwing for 159 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 13 passes.

Red Lion Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 424 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 156 rushing yards in nine consecutive contests.

Red Lion Christian Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Zion Spencer-Roberts and Nathan Everett. Spencer-Roberts got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Red Lion Christian Academy's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.6 points over those games. As for Laurel, their record now sits at 6-4.
