Volleyball Recap: Marshall's Victory on Wednesday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Marshall came tearing into Wednesday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Lincoln Tigers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Marshall was especially dominant in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-19, 25-12.

Despite the defeat, Lincoln saw an underclassman step up: freshman Jessie Valencia had 22 digs.

Marshall's win bumped their record up to 14-5. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 15-18.

Looking ahead, Marshall is taking a road trip to take on Taft at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Lincoln does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
