Soccer Game Preview: Midview vs. Bay

The Midview Middies will head out on the road to take on the Bay Rockets at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Midview headed into their last matchup having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but Holy Name let them put that streak behind them. The Middies blew past the Green Wave 4-0 on Thursday. The win was a breath of fresh air for Midview as it put an end to their three-match losing streak.

They hit Holy Name with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Rachael Anderson, Hannah Bacskay, Adriana Loera, and Jillian Vandersluis.

Meanwhile, Bay's game on Saturday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They beat Notre Dame Academy by a goal, winning 2-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Bay's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio soccer rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Notre Dame Academy are ranked 178th).

Bay's victory bumped their record up to 11-3-2. As for Midview, their win bumped their record up to 5-11-2.
