Soccer Recap: Statesville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Statesville lost against Lake Norman back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Greyhounds lost 5-0 to the Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Statesville can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 231st, while Lake Norman are ranked 15th).

Statesville now has a losing record of 7-8-5. As for Lake Norman, their win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Statesville is set to challenge their familiar foe North Iredell at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lake Norman will face off against rival Mooresville at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
