Baseball Recap: Assumption Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Erath, Assumption was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the St. John Eagles by a score of 7-4. The Mustangs' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Assumption's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for St. John, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-5.

As for St. John, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 15-0 win against Bourgeois on the 21st.
