Basketball Recap: Carman-Ainsworth Comes Up Short

Carman-Ainsworth lost against Heritage back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Carman-Ainsworth Cavaliers took a blow against the Heritage Hawks, falling 75-41. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 287th, while the Hawks are ranked 11th).

Carman-Ainsworth has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. The victory (which was Heritage's tenth in a row) raised their record to 21-3.

Carman-Ainsworth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Heritage, they will take on Rockford at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Rockford will roll in looking for their 22nd straight win, something Heritage surely won't give up without a fight.
