It was a good run, but Palm Desert unfortunately witnessed the end of their eight-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Temescal Canyon Titans. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Aztecs couldn't push the score so high this time.

Palm Desert saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Stevie Hutchinson, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Palm Desert's loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Temescal Canyon, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-2-1.

Palm Desert wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-4 victory against La Quinta on the 1st. As for Temescal Canyon, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 10-3 win against Murrieta Valley on the 2nd.
