Football Recap: Tyler Legacy Comes Up Short

Tyler Legacy managed to slip by Rockwall-Heath the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Raiders were outmatched by the Hawks and fell 51-21. The contest marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Tyler Legacy lost on Friday, don't look at DJ Owens. Despite the final result, he picked up 121 receiving yards and two TDs. Takaiden Brown also helped out with an impressive 121 receiving yards.

Tyler Legacy now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Rockwall-Heath, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coincidentally, Tyler Legacy and Rockwall-Heath will both be playing North Forney the next time they take the field. The Raiders will host the Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while the Hawks will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on October 10.
