Recap: DRW College Prep Cheetahs vs. UIC College Prep Firecats
There's no place like home for the DRW College Prep Cheetahs, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against UIC College Prep by a score of 58-51 on Monday. This was payback for DRW College Prep, who suffered a 50-44 defeat the last time these two teams met.
UIC College Prep's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Adam Matthews, who scored 10 points along with 8 rebounds and 3 steals. Another player making a difference was Jayden Coleman , who scored 15 points.
DRW College Prep's win bumped their record up to 1-2. As for UIC College Prep, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. DRW College Prep will take on Harlan at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for UIC College Prep, they will head out on the road to face off against Rickover Naval at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
