Softball Game Preview: Perry Commodores vs. Riverdale Falcons

The Perry Commodores will challenge the Riverdale Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

After dropping their season opener at home, Riverdale is headed out to face a Commodores team ready to give their home crowd a win. Perry lost 27-1 to Vanlue on Tuesday. Commodores fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Wildcats since Tuesday.

Riverdale kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against Hardin Northern, falling 15-0. The Falcons have struggled against the Polar Bears recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.
