Volleyball Recap: Boswell Triumphs

Boswell's tournament run continued when they took on Frisco on Friday. The Pioneers came out on top against the Raccoons by a score of 2-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pioneers.

Boswell never let Frisco on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-18.

Avery Cartwright paced Boswell's offense, picking up 13 kills. Cartwright got some help from Brooklynn Williams and her 14 assists. Maribel Longspaugh controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Boswell's win bumped their record up to 9-7. As for Frisco, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Boswell will head out on the road to square off against Wylie East at 9:15 a.m. on Saturday. As for Frisco, they will welcome Richland at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
