Volleyball Recap: HomeSchool Resource Center Comes Up Short

HomeSchool Resource Center lost against Illinois C on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots fell 2-0 to the Crusaders. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-11.

Ben Torres paced HomeSchool Resource Center's offense, picking up five kills. Torres got some help from Nick Dettlaff and his four assists. Dettlaff was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

HomeSchool Resource Center's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Illinois C, their win bumped their record up to 2-0.

While HomeSchool Resource Center had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on the 25th.
