Basketball Recap: Clifton-Fine Comes Up Short at Home Against Tupper Lake + How To Watch

Clifton-Fine unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a 64-24 loss at the hands of the Tupper Lake Lumberjacks. The Clifton-Fine Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-7.

Tupper Lake was led to victory by John Tower and Colin Strack. Tower went 8-for-17 on his way to 21 points and six steals, while Strack shot 50% from the field to rack up 23 points and eight boards. What's more, Tower posted three assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Ethan Barkley was another key player, putting up four points in addition to eight rebounds and eight steals.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clifton-Fine will welcome Salmon River at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tupper Lake, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Madrid-Waddington at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Lumberjacks' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
