Softball Recap: Newton Comes Up Short

Newton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They lost 21-0 to Woodville. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Woodville this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-1 back in March.

Newton's record is now 4-18. As for Woodville, their victory ended a 13-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-16.

As of now, neither Newton nor Woodville have any future games scheduled.
