Cornerstone Christian had won two straight games and Lorelei Bryant did her part to make it three on Friday. The Cornerstone Christian Lions strolled past the First Baptist Academy Eagles with points to spare, taking the game 41-25 thanks in part to Bryant, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and ten steals. The matchup was her ninth in a row with at least 18 points.

Cornerstone Christian pushed their record up to 10-6 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points over those games. As for First Baptist Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Cornerstone Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 43-41 win against Austin Classical on the 10th. First Baptist Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
