The Northwest Whitfield Bruins will face off against the Ridgeland Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Northwest Whitfield is headed into Friday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight defeats. The game between the Bruins and Adairsville didn't end well, with the Bruins falling 33-17. While the Bruins didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Tigers 14-7 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Ridgeland challenged Adairsville last Friday. The Panthers were dealt a 30-3 loss at the hands of the Tigers. The Panthers were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Northwest Whitfield's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Ridgeland, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
