Fullington Academy won against Crisp Academy last Friday with 56 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Friday. The Trojans took their game with ease, bagging a 56-7 win over the John Hancock Academy Rebels. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Trojans also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Fullington Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Blake Hendrickson, who threw for 257 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 51 yards and one score on only seven carries. The dominant performance also gave Hendrickson a new career-high in passer rating (152.2). Aidan Hill was another key back, gaining 116 total yards and a touchdown.

Fullington Academy has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 56.0 points this season. As for John Hancock Academy, their loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Fullington Academy and John Hancock Academy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Trojans are set to take on their familiar foe Westwood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, John Hancock Academy will challenge rival Westminster Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
