Softball Recap: Sutter Comes Up Short

Sutter's tournament run continued when they took on Arroyo Grande on Saturday. The Huskies fell 7-3 to the Eagles. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lexi Callison was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was Liliana Speakman, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Sutter's loss dropped their record down to 10-6-1. As for Arroyo Grande, their victory bumped their record up to 4-13.

Sutter has already played their next matchup, a 6-3 win against Pioneer Valley on the 11th. As for Arroyo Grande, they will head out to square off against Righetti at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Eagles' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
