Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Joely Tankersley and Adyn Simpson Lead Har-Ber to Victory

Har-Ber posted their closest victory since August 30th on Tuesday. They skirted past the Bentonville West Wolverines 3-2. The Wildcats have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wolverines, too.

Har-Ber was staring down a 2-1 deficit headed into the fourth set, but they rallied to take the next two for the win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 23-25, 26-28, 25-20, 15-9.

Leading Har-Ber to victory were Adyn Simpson and Joely Tankersley. Simpson had ten digs and two aces, while Tankersley had 12 digs and four assists. That's the most digs Tankersley has posted over her last four matches.

They weren't the only good server: Har-Ber was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Despite the loss, Bentonville West had strong showings from Laney Chilton, who had 21 digs and two assists, and Jayden Gribble, who had 20 assists and nine digs. Chilton has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 12 times she's played.

Har-Ber's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8. As for Bentonville West, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.
