Baseball Recap: Henry County's Undefeated Season over After Seven Games

After soaring to 13 runs the game before, Henry County was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Northeast Eagles. The game marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Henry County got a good showing from Turner McSwain, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Those two hits allowed gave McSwain a new career-low.

On the hitting side, Henry County saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Levi Peale, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, Henry County fell to 6-1. As for Northeast, the win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-11.

Coincidentally, Henry County and Northeast will both be playing Rossview the next time they take the field. Henry County will host Rossview at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Northeast will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
