Lexington wins going away against Troy

The Lexington Eagles entered their tilt with the Troy Trojans with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Lexington blew past Troy 52-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Lexington has posted since December 9, 2023.

Maya Bell was her usual excellent self, scoring 17 points along with nine steals and five rebounds. She hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. KK Crawford was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with five steals.

Lexington's win bumped their record up to 19-11. As for Troy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost five of their last six games, which put a noticeable dent in their 15-13 record this season.

Lexington will head out on the road to face off against Rogers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Troy, they will be playing at home against McGregor at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. McGregor is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
