Volleyball Recap: Maclay Marauders vs. New Smyrna Beach Barracudas
Maclay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the New Smyrna Beach Barracudas.
The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12.
Maclay now has a losing record at 5-6. As for New Smyrna Beach, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-2.
Maclay will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Bishop Snyder at 9:30 a.m. As for New Smyrna Beach, they will take on Creekside at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. Creekside will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something New Smyrna Beach surely won't give up without a fight.
